Watercolors

If you noticed the classroom looks different, it's because we changed rooms for the winter months.  We decided to make better use of the room known as the nap room, which happens to be the second warmest room in the house

The smaller room works well for the smaller group that we currently have.

The children seem to enjoy the process of darkening the room and rolling out nap mats to transition to rest time each day.

With all the open floor space in the sunroom now, it's perfect for some gross motor time in a sheltered, unheated space. So as we get all bundled up, the quicker dressers have some time to jump on the trampoline, ride a trike, hula hoop, or tumble on the thick mat. It's the new rec room!
